Leave the Bathroom Door Ajar

Your not buiding your bathroom for anyone else - its purely for the comfort of you and your family. Yet more and more people are choosing to leave the bathroom door ajar so that others can admire their bathroom. Designers talk about creating "a house in a house" - a room with its own distinct design.

Its not all about the space. Its not necessary to have a large space to create your perfect bathroom. Even a small bathroom can become the oasis of your dreams. Its all about planning intelligently and seeing the possibilities. And remember - your bathroom is no longer a room just for sanitary needs. Its also a place for listening to music, talking, playing, surfing the web and relaxing.

Warm and cosy. One of the latest trends is creating a personal bathroom style. It doesn't take a miracle to do this. Try adding that old vintage chair from your garage (if it fits obviously). Or hang gilt picture frames on the walls - and why not crystal chandellier on the ceiling ha ha.

Mix old and new. A counter-trend to warm and cosy is stark and minimalist. This style fits in everywhere, and its also prctical because the surfaces are easy to keep clean. Or why not combine old with modern elements? The result is effective and -yes- very personal.

Gary Fullwood - At Watford Bathrooms and Kitchens we help you acheive that perfect harmony in your bathroom so when you are washing you have that person in your head saying " yeah this is my bathroom" such a nice warm feeling to have and to be proud of.
