Wetroom or Doom

Its not all "Doom and Gloom" when it come to wanting a wetroom installed in your new bathroom. We get a lot of customers come into our showroom saying "We can't have a wetroom in our house." The general reasons customers think like this is because they have been miss informed. We hear things like, "Your not allowed wetrooms upstairs in house's." or "They always leak so its best not to." and many more.

But as my mum told me "There is no such thing as can't." As an area we specialize in at Watford Bathrooms and Kitchens, we generally install 1 - 2 wetrooms every month so we have every reason to put the doubters straight when we receive this sort of comments about wetrooms. We have experience and very skilled bathroom installers to back up everything we say and do but at the same time it does come down to making sure we are using the right products for the job as well.

A wetroom is completely versatile and can be adapted for small ensuites or large luxury bathrooms, upstairs or downstairs. If you have the space, a walk-in enclosure with no door is the perfect solution. For a smaller ensuite, frameless enclosures with beautifully hinged doors, provide complete shower screening.

Most homes in the UK have quite compact bathrooms. A typical layout is with the bath at the end of the room with the washbasin and WC on one of the side wall. You can now replace the bath with a luxury wetroom featuring an glass fixed panel to create a walk-in shower area.
